Harwood is committed to making sure employees continue to get the skills and knowledge they need to do their job effectively and to achieve their long term career aspirations.
Employees are encouraged to pursue training and development activities which not only fulfil Harwood’s training needs, but also benefit the individual concerned. Hence, all training and development is structured to allow employees to acquire the necessary attitude, skill, knowledge and qualifications to perform effectively the duties and tasks for which they are, or may be, employed.
Personal training needs are addressed as part of the performance appraisal system and frequent one to one meetings throughout the year.
